  • Is there life after birth?

    Is there life after birth?

God is often quite abstract quite for our minds, which is probably the reason why there are so many atheists around. They are trying to understand God from our perspective which is definitely hard or some might argue even impossible. God is someone beyond our dimensions, beyond our ability to understand, that’s why we need FAITH.

Here as interesting parable I once heard:

There were two twins in the mothers womb, Believing and Non-Believing, talking to each other:

Non-Believing: “Do you believe in life after birth?”

Believing: “Well of course, there has to be something after birth. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”

Non-Believing: “Nonsense! There is no life after birth. What kind of life would that even be?!”

Believing: “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

Non-Believing: “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

Believing: “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

Non-Believing: “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

Believing: “Well, I don’t know, but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

Non-Believing: “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

Believing: “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Non-Believing: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

Believing: “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above. I believe our true life will start after birth!”

What about you, do you believe?

Now I am sure you all noticed the similarity between how this believing child views his mother and how we view God and life after death.

Lots of things we believe about life after death and God himself is impossible to logically explain because we live in a different world/dimension then God does. That’s also one of the reasons we are grateful for Jesus, that God himself sent his son to our world, that way we could understand God better. God walked among us and through that, and numerous other things Jesus did, showed us that He is with us, He didn’t forget us and He cares!

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

    2 Corinthians 12:10

Although we should strive to pray not only in sorrow but in happiness as well, often times we don’t do that. However, true is that when we pray we are the strongest, the prayer and faith in those moments empower us.

So when we are facing the biggest hardships, when you would think you’ve hit rock bottom, that’s when you’ll remember to pray and that’s when you will become the strongest you can be!

Now let’s just try to remember to pray when everything is going good as well. Let’s pray not only to ask for help but to thank God for the help he already provided.

  • Why am I doing this?

    Why am I doing this?

I am starting this page because I have a lot of things on my mind that are bothering me with this world. I used to (well I still do, but I am hoping to stop after this) argue online, mainly on Instagram, YouTube and Reddit, over many important (to me) subjects. It was causing me lot of stress because many people I argued with were indifferent to the injustice of the world and I wasn’t even sure anymore what bothered me more, their lack of caring or the injustice itself.

This is why I am starting this site, so I can relieve my brain from such things by writing it down and hopefully someday I may encounter some people that can understand me. I plan on writing about various topic but probably mostly about relationship to God, especially in marriage, financial difficulties in families and family structure. That’s the reason the sites motto is “Family, Faith, Finance”.

If you like my writing, consider liking the post and maybe subscribing to the newsletter. Be sure to check out my “Daily Quote” page. Have a lovely day dear reader and God bless you!

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

    2 Corinthians 5:7

Often times we can get discouraged from our certain ideas only because from our point of you we can’t see the light behind at the end of a dark tunnel or to put it even more simply: we can’t see the solution to our problems.

But that’s just how life is, as Steve Jobs once said:

You can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards.

So you have to trust in something, often times you will have to go blind into some decisions, not knowing what will come from them, just have faith in God that even though you don’t know, He does.
